As a Certified mold remediation and testing professional, I was called in by Clear Path to perform pre and post treatment indoor air quality and direct surface testing of the basement space of a medical facility. The period between taking the initial and final samples in the space for laboratory testing was 11 days. To hold the environmental variables constant, no other form of remediation or dehumidification was undertaken except for Clear Path’s PMO Safe cold plasma generator system. At the end of the 11-day period the results were quite demonstrative. Of the two mold spore types observed during the first testing, one had been completely eliminated, and the other was maintained at a level consistent with the outdoor background/control. Of further note, the damp, musty odor in the space typical of mildew (which I do not test for) had been removed and in its place was a clean, fresh smell.
